A space for you.

Therapy offers different things to different people. For some, it’s a safe and supportive space to share what’s on their mind and to truly feel heard. Others come with specific experiences or challenges they’d like to explore, or a wish to better understand themselves and their relationships. Some people may feel overwhelmed, uncertain or stuck in life, without knowing exactly what they need. Whatever brings you to therapy, we can take the time to understand it together and explore what you need to move forward.

About me

I’m Sarah, a warm and compassionate therapist who offers a non-judgemental space where you can begin to make sense of whatever is happening in your life. I listen with care and curiosity, taking time to truly understand what has brought you to therapy. With a gentle and honest approach, I support you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

With over 20 years experience of teaching and leading in schools, and a SEN specialism, I'm a strong advocate for neurodivergent pupils and their families. I'm neurodivergent myself and find that my lived experience of ADHD helps me to provide a safe, inclusive space where clients feel heard, accepted, and free to be themselves.

My therapy approach

I'm always astounded by the wisdom of the natural world and the inspiration we can take from it. Just as nature can soothe the nervous system and invite reflection, therapy creates space to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with yourself.

Safe, trusting relationship

Building safety and trust is central to my work, and I practise in line with ethical frameworks. I provide a calm, confidential space where you can feel heard and safe to share at your own pace.

Integrative therapy

Part of how I work, explores how past experiences and relationships shape how we feel and relate in the present. Building an awareness of these patterns, can deepen our understanding of ourselves and others, and open up future chioces.

Tailored to your needs

No single approach suits everyone, so I tailor my work to each client’s unique needs. I work collaboratively and welcome feedback, supporting you to feel autonomy and control in your therapy journey.

Creative approach

I enjoy working creatively, including sand therapy, which offers a different way to express experiences. It can bring unconscious thoughts and feelings into awareness, opening up new opportunities for insight and healing. However, clients always choose how they like to work (not me).
